Mail Delivery
It is our goal to be sure that all the mail is sorted and all student packages are made available to students by 2 p.m. daily. On heavy volume days (generally days following a three-day weekend or extensive holidays such as Christmas and New Year's) second and third class mail may be delayed by one or two days.
For security reasons, friends may not pick up your mail or parcels from the service window without notification from you to us via email or by phone. Please note we are unable to assist with taking packages or boxes to your residence hall for you. You may bring a friend, or a car, for pick-ups of large items.
Change of Address
If you move off campus, you must notify the Mail Center to have your mail forwarded. Email your new address to: mailcenter@sandiego.edu. Be sure to also include your USD unit number in your forwarding request. Mail will be forwarded for six months. Send all necessary notifications to your correspondents, such as; Registrar of Voters, DMV, magazines, banks, family, friends etc.
